Domed Sapphire Crystal
Many watches on the market attempt to achieve the texture of a dome-shaped glass at low costs, and often choose plastic, mineral or other ordinary materials for the dome-shaped glass, which not only affects its readability but is also easy to scratch and break. The Asymmetry Chronograph's dome-shaped glass is made of extremely hard sapphire crystal (Mohs hardness of 9 - diamond is 10). Thanks to its high light transmittance and high hardness, it provides better readability and resists scratches from most substances except diamond. This dome-shaped sapphire crystal glass greatly enhances the sense of luxury for the Asymmetry without sacrificing on quality. The Asymmetry is equipped with a custom-made Seagull ST1902 manual chronograph mechanical movement. As Chinese first chronograph movement, it has been used since the 1950s for its high precision and strong stability, and is also one of the most mature movement technologies of Seagull.
